The story started from my thoughts about job search initiated by Douglas Coupland’s quote. I was thinking about getting a job offer as a getting lottery ticket and developed a poster with the 3D element translating that kind of vibe. I used that poster as a title image for my LinkedIn post.

I wanted ‘square that poster’ to be authentically mine, so I created posters with things I was worried about at that time.

Then, I started to look for inspiration in my day-to-day things. That’s how the poster ‘Hyvä sauna on aina suomalainen’ was created. I was using Duolingo to learn Finnish for some time, and one day came up with the idea to draw an illustration about that.

My imagination went wilder, so for the 8th poster, I asked the AI Midjourney to generate images with the keyword black. Using AI in the creation process is the future we can’t deny, so I came closer to that future.

While I was trying some new fun tools and techniques, I wanted this project to reflect my position. The 9th poster contained an illustration with the body positive movement theme, making a statement about myself as a person.

In the middle of December, I came to Tbilisi, Georgia. It was a perfect time to share the beauty of that place in a poster.
